Cut:

With perfect precision, an “Ideal” cut diamond must adhere to exact AGS, American Gem Society proportions.

Symmetry:

The shaping and placement of facets is crucial to the symmetry of a Diamond in order to yield an exact mirror image of opposite features. A Hearts and Arrows Diamond is possible only when “Ideal” symmetry is presence.

Polish:

A Diamond that has “Ideal” polish will not show polish lines or other surface blemishes under a microscope with 10x magnification.

The AGS diamonds that we sell are the finest that there is, “Ideal”. It is the combination of an “Ideal” cut, “Ideal” symmetry & “Ideal” polish that makes an AGS 000 Hearts and Arrows diamond so rare & unique. Less than 1% of all diamonds in the world will achieve the distinction of being graded by AGS as a ‘000’. AGS grades on a number/word basis. “The top grade, “Ideal” is equal to a 0, “Excellent” (almost ideal) a 1, and so on down to 10 (Poor).
